Amenities at Ideal Beach Resort

Ideal Beach Resort knows just how to get our guests out of their rooms and having fun. The following list details the full array of amenities located on the resort that will have the whole family begging to stay outside just five minutes longer.

Watercraft Rental by Epic Recreation

Launching from the marina located directly on the resort, Epic Recreation provides guests with every small watercraft need. Rentals include sea-doos, speed boats, paddleboats and more. Allow us to help you put Bear Lake to good use with the convenently located rental shack and all the water equipment you will need. Visit Epic Recreation's website for more information.

Beach Access

Ideal Beach Resort is one of the only resorts located directly on the shore of Bear Lake. Children bring shovels and buckets to collect seashells, build sandcastles, and play on the shore. Parents enjoy relaxing on towels or beach chairs as the subtle tide comes in. Our spacious beaches are perfect for taking evening walks with a loved one, watching the sunset, or simply feeling the sand between your toes. In any case, it is the perfect place to create fond memories.

Coconut Climbing Trees

You've heard of a climbing wall, but allow Ideal Beach to introduce you to climbing coconut trees. Three "trees," complete with reasonably placed hand holds and a buzzer at the top, tower over beautiful Bear Lake and are safe enough for the entire family to enjoy. State of the art harnesses and carefully trained staff will ensure that no harm will threaten any climber while still providing an exciting adventure. The Coconut Climb is available during high season.

Tropical Sno Shaved Ice

Tropical Sno shaved ice is one of the newest additions to Ideal Beach Resort. Located just steps away from the beach, these snow cones provide the perfect oasis on a hot summer's day. From Blue Raspberry, to Piña Colada, to our very own Bear Lake Monster Blood, we are sure to have a flavor for any taste bud.

Tennis and Basketball Courts

For our sports lovers, the resort offers six outdoor and two indoor tennis courts and an outdoor basketball court with six hoops. Each court features regulation nets and dimensions. The Store at Ideal Beach Resort offers free rentals of tennis balls and rackets as well as basketballs if you happen to forget to bring your own.

Pools, Hot Tubs, and Saunas

Not only is the beach "ideal" at Ideal Beach Resort, but we also take pride in our other aquatic options. Our heated pools, hot tubs, dry saunas, water slides, diving board, and more provide the perfect alternative to supplement the beautiful Bear Lake.

Miniature Golf

These 18 holes include loopty-loops, secret tunnels, rotating bowling pins, and fun for the entire family. Miniature golf is only $2 per person of any age and is centrally located and available to guests during high season.

Green Space

Ideal Beach Resort offers acres of green space for any activity you can imagine. Perfect for a game of soccer, volleyball, or croquet, there is enough grass for everyone. All units offer easy access and an unrestricted vew of the lawn, so watchful parents can keep an eye on their children at play.

Reunion Center

Ideal Beach Resort offers the reunion center as a space to gather the whole family under one roof. Our reunion center can hold up to 120 guests, and comes equipped with tables, chairs, restrooms, and a full kitchen. Rent it by the hour or for the entire day at our affordable rates.

Activity Center

One of our most popular attractions for our younger guests is the Activity Center. There, kids are instructed on how to construct, design, and decorate crafts and various other creative projects. Costs are minimal and our energetic staff are sure to provide a great time for children of all ages. The Activity Center is available during high season.

The Store: Ice Cream Parlor, Wi-fi Access, Bicycle Rental, and Video Rental

The Store at Ideal Beach Resort serves as the central hub for all activities on the resort. The store and gift shop offers famous Farr's ice cream, groceries, tooth brushs, and any replacement for those things that were supposed to make it into your suitcase, but didn't. There is also comfortable seating areas where guests can enjoy free wireless internet and a plasma screen television.

Playground

The Ideal Beach Resort playground is located on warm Bear Lake sand. The playground features 2 large swing sets as well as many slides and different types of equipment to run around and climb on. Adults can play with their little ones or relax on benches nearby. Bring your children and leave it to their imaginations to create an epic adventure!

BBQ and Picnic Areas

For all you s’more and barbecue lovers, Ideal Beach Resort has barbecue pits and picnic tables spread around the resort so your family can enjoy an outdoor meal together. Bring your charcoal, roasting sticks, picnic chairs, hot dogs, and hamburgers and enjoy sitting in the shade, sharing a meal with a loved one.
